Fair trade ice creams

They're back! Lark's fabulous knitted ice cream rattles in 3 delicious flavours. Sure to get baby drooling and will cool off pretend playtime with the older kids! (My girls keep them in the pretend kitchen freezer for those really hot days...)

They are hand knitted by a women's fair trade collective in Bangladesh.

This one here is Vanilla and as it's yellow, it's 15% off until the end of January. Yummo!
Also available in Strawberry (pink) and Pistachio / Mint (green), available in the rattles and squeakers section... naturally.

Do you remember these cute swap cards from when you were a bit younger?
Maybe your mum would!
A young Australian artist, Sue Adams, illustrated these cute kids in the 1960's. They became very popular as greeting cards, stationary and swap cards.
Allison from Lark tracked down the original images and has brought Daisy Lane to life for the next generation to enjoy.
We've very excited to be stocking Daisy Lane swap cards and storage albums. There will be more card series coming out in the future too.

I heart badges..... cross stitch that looks funky enough to wear! (Only joking, I'm sure there's loads of great cross stitch numbers out there...) $2.00 each. Again, choose what speaks to you. Could give others a 'heads up' on what will make you happy!

Another gorgeous hand-knitted product made under fair trade conditions. How can you resist!
A denim tool kit bag with a strap that goes around the waist and secures with velcro, holds 3 knitted tools - hammer, screwdriver and saw. Each tool has a rattle encased within for some good old fashioned rattlin' fun! Lark knitted tool kit $39.95 for the set.
