Welcome Smallprints + giveaway!

Designed and made in Australia, these awesome, colourful (well if you put them altogether!), but most importantly stylish party invitations are by Smallprints.
Designed by Sydney mum and Art Director Alex McCarthy, Smallprints offers modern invites for young ones and older kids (like 'Rock On' above).

Welcome label "2 little boys" to my 200th post!

I LOVE this new brand! So colourful and very fun. Perfect for bpab...
2 Little Boys are from the UK. The range is full of perfect boredom buster ideas and to spark the creative imagination of any child.
Above are the IOU Vouchers, which come in a clear plastic case and are perfect for giving out as rewards or spoiling children on special days. My girls can't read yet, so I've been letting them look through them and they pick based on picture (I can modify because they don't know what it says on the card... as long as it goes with the picture!). La chose that we ate ice cream in the afternoon - which was very yummy! Today Chai chose that we go visit the museum next week - we haven't been for ages so it will be a great adventure. There are 50 cards in the pack (including 4 custom ones for you to fill in) and are only $19.95.

Then there are the great blank paged notebooks, with glossy covers and spiral bound! I'm drawling...... I seem to do this with stationary of any kind! Monstar Kids Winter = onesies, crochet & more elephants!

April Colouring Competition! Yippee!

Okay. Here's the dealio:
1. Choose any of the pictures below (or all of them) and click on the one you want. It should come up nice and big. Print it out onto paper.


2. Colour the picture any way you like, using anything (crayons, pencils, textas, glitter, coloured sands, torn paper....). Have fun with it!

3. You will need to scan it back into your computer and make it a file that you can then email to me and I'll upload it to the colouring comp. photo album on our Facebook page. Please include artist's name and age.

Monster Tee winner!!

A couple of weeks ago I posted a question:
When shopping on the net for clothing, do you prefer to see the clothing on a body or laid out flat on the floor?
Well the comments I got back were almost half and half!
But, laid out on the floor was the favourite (just!).
Here are some reasons, taken from comments left:

FLAT ON THE FLOOR PLEASE -
*you get a better close up of the garment
*Kids are all different sizes so its hard to compare
*Cute kids are too distracting
*gives a good flat image
*is great for close-ups of detail
*a large image
*it's useful to be able to see the full garment as well in many cases

ON A BODY PLEASE -
*you can see the fit and length
*gives an idea of fit and the way the fabric hangs
*a smaller image
*sometimes things look very different on the body than they do on the hanger
*has so much more life and warmth, it's much more appealing to me

So it looks like I'll be doing a bit of both from now on......

Clothing: on a body or on the floor? You decide here and now!

Okay, so I've decided to do a bit of an experiment!
I'm doing it with the Monstar Kids clothing range as Fiona had given me some images of her photo shoot for Summer 08/09.
I basically want to know what you prefer when browsing for clothing on the web!
Do you like seeing the garment worn on a body or just laid flat out on it's own with no distractions?
